Method: Give every pair of students the "Environmental Find" sheet and ask them to work in pairs to draw or write an object they might or can find in the yard that should not be there (ie. rubbish).

You could also collect a bag full of different things that are considered rubbish and classify them into (a) material that you could recycle, (b) material that can decompose; and (c) material that is truly waste alone.
